CertificateWe are very pleased to announce that the Staffordshire Rural Policing Liaison Group have presented us with a 'Commended' certificate in thier Countryside Awards, 2007. The Award was presented at the Moat House, Acton Trussell on 25th November 2007.

The award was given for our work in rescuing hedgehogs, and for our emphasis on informing the public about wildlife issues and the effects on hedgehogs. We have seen more than 400 hedgehogs since we started, and about 180 this year.

We have always tried to inform and educate people about hedgehogs. We have recently started visiting Wildlife Days and local schools to take the message to children and their parents. We hope that this will continue as time goes by.

Needless to say, we were pleased to be recognised for the work we have been doing, but we also know that there are many other people who do more for hedgehogs. Also, we recognise that lost of people have helped us, and with out them we could not complete the work that we do.
