Hospital Facilities
- Baby Hedgehogs
- Hoglets are usually kept indoors in boxes.
- They need two hourly feeds and regular attention.
- We keep litters together for as long as possible.
- We have room for five litters.
- Juveniles and Adults
- Older hogs are kept under cover in small rabbit hutches.
- Animals are usually kept separately, although siblings may be kept together.
- We currently have twelve hutches.
- Sick and Injured
- We can apply basic first-aid.
- We can worm, de-flea and de-tick hogs.
- We use various Homeopathic treatments on minor ailments.
- We have an enclosed run for rehabillitating hogs.
- Seriously cases go to our vet.
- Heat Pads
- Young, sick and injured hogs need to be kept warm. We have five thermostatic heat pads
