Hospital Facilities

• Baby Hedgehogs
• Hoglets are usually kept indoors in boxes.
• They need two hourly feeds and regular attention.
• We keep litters together for as long as possible.
• We have room for five litters.
• Juveniles and Adults
• Older hogs are kept under cover in small rabbit hutches.
• Animals are usually kept separately, although siblings may be kept together.
• We currently have twelve hutches.
• Sick and Injured
• We can apply basic first-aid.
• We can worm, de-flea and de-tick hogs.
• We use various Homeopathic treatments on minor ailments.
• We have an enclosed run for rehabillitating hogs.
• Seriously cases go to our vet.
• Heat Pads
• Young, sick and injured hogs need to be kept warm. We have five thermostatic heat pads
